Terms of service

By installing or using Packnaut, you agree to these terms with Sumacron, the developer of Packnaut on Google Play ("we", "us"). Please read them with our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Who can use Packnaut

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that's higher. You can use Packnaut without an account. Signing in with Google is optional and is only needed for backup and sync.

2. Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Packnaut on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. We own Packnaut, including its design, text, catalogue and code. These terms don't transfer any of those rights to you. Google Play's own terms also apply to how you download the app and pay for Pro.

3. Packing suggestions are guidance

Packnaut suggests what to pack using your trip details, a weather forecast, and automated tools including artificial intelligence. Forecasts change, and suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for what you pack and for checking your own travel requirements, such as passports and visas, vaccination and medication rules, customs and airline baggage limits, and local laws. Don't rely on Packnaut for anything where a mistake could cause injury or serious loss.

4. Pro: subscriptions, trials and payments

• What Pro is. Packnaut is free to use. Pro adds more trips at once, full trip history, your own templates, backup and sync across your phones, and proactive weather alerts. A subscription is not needed to use the app.
• How you pay. Pro is sold through Google Play as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The price, in your local currency and including any tax, is shown in the app and on Google Play's checkout screen before you pay. Google Play processes the payment.
• Automatic renewal. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, and you're charged the then-current price, until you cancel.
• Free trials. If you start a free trial, it becomes a paid monthly subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. The trial length and the price you'll pay afterwards are shown before you start.
• Cancelling. Cancel any time in the app (Settings → Manage subscription) or in the Google Play Store (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Price changes. If a subscription price changes, Google Play tells you in advance, and where the law or Google requires it, the new price only applies once you agree to it.
• Lifetime. A lifetime purchase gives you Pro, with no further payments, for as long as we provide Packnaut.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies.
• Restoring. Purchases belong to the Google Play account you bought them with. On a new phone or after reinstalling, restore Pro from Settings → Already bought Pro? Restore it.
• Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play.

5. Your content

Your trips, lists, notes and templates belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only as needed to run Packnaut for you, as described in our privacy policy.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Packnaut. In particular, don't:

• try to access other people's data or our systems without permission;
• interfere with, overload or disrupt our servers, or automate requests to them;
• copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app;
• get around purchase checks, usage limits or security measures; or
• use Packnaut for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or end access for anyone who does, and we'll tell you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.

7. Third-party services

Packnaut relies on services from other companies, such as Google Play, Google Sign-In, weather data and AI providers. Their availability isn't under our control, and your use of Google Play is governed by Google's terms.

8. Changes to Packnaut

We may change Packnaut's features over time. We won't remove core Pro features from a period you've already paid for. If we stop providing Packnaut, refunds are handled under Google Play's policies.

9. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Packnaut is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that its suggestions, forecasts or place information will be accurate or complete. This doesn't affect any warranty or guarantee that the law gives you and that can't be excluded.

10. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as a missed trip, a forgotten item, a lost booking, or lost profits. Our total liability to you for all claims about Packnaut is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro. None of this limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else that can't legally be limited.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using Packnaut at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may end these terms or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break them. The disclaimers, liability limit and governing law still apply afterwards.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will be decided by the competent courts of the Philippines.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the effective date above. If you keep using Packnaut after an update, the new terms apply.

14. General

These terms, with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Packnaut. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies.
